Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Kimaya at the K & Kay Glam Room. Please review the following policies before booking to ensure a smooth and professional experience. ⸻ 🔒 Deposits & Payments • A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all appointments. • Deposits go toward your total service cost. The remaining balance is due at the time of service via Cash App, Zelle, or cash. • Appointments without a deposit will not be held. ⸻ ⏰ Late Arrivals • A 10-minute grace period is allowed. • Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may be charged a $10 late fee or asked to reschedule, depending on stylist availability. • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit. ⸻ ❌ Cancellations & No-Shows • Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. • Same-day cancellations or no-shows will result in a forfeited deposit and may require full payment to rebook in the future. ⸻ 💇🏽‍♀️ Hair Prep Requirements • Please arrive with clean, fully detangled hair, free of product buildup, oils, or leave-in conditioners. • Hair that is not prepped properly may require a detangling/blowout fee of $10–$25, depending on condition and time needed. ⸻ 📦 Hair Extensions & Style Details • Braiding hair is included with all knotless styles and kids lemonade braid styles. • After booking, please text: • Your desired hair color • Preferred braid length • A clear photo of your hair • For Fulani Quickweave styles, clients must bring their own weave/bundles. Hair must be clean, untangled, and ready to install. • Please contact Kimaya in advance for hair brand recommendations if needed. ⸻ 👧🏽 Kid Styles • Children must arrive with clean, detangled hair. • A parent/guardian must remain nearby during appointments for children under 12. • Extra detangling may result in a prep fee of $10–$15. ⸻ 📸 Media & Consent • Photos and short videos may be taken before/after your appointment for Kimaya’s portfolio or social media. • If you prefer not to be photographed, just let her know before your appointment begins. ⸻ ✨ Kimaya values your time and aims to deliver clean, quality work in a comfortable and professional environment.
